We highly recommend to ride a hot air balloon in Cappadocia, which is the most mesmerizing and the most demanded activity in our unique region.
ATV QUAD and horseback ridings are also other thrilling events in Cappadocia. Please note to us if you are interested in purchasing these activities
On the sixth day of the tour following the breakfast, we drive to the Konya. The city of Konya is located on South central region of Turkey. Three hours drive away from Cappadocia During Roman times, the city was visited by St. Paul and because of its location on ancient trade routes, it continued to thrive during the Byzantine era. Konyas golden age was in the 12th and 13th centuries when it was the capital of the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum. The founder of Sufism, who is Mevlana Rumi lived and died in Konya. Shrine of Rumi attracts many visitors each years. On seventh day, we drive to the Antalya from Konya. After reaching Antalya we will visit Aspendos Antique Roman Teathre and Perge Ruins on same day. The other stop of this tour is Leather Center (you will be able to see leather items) following the end of the day, we drive to the hotel.
On the tenth day of the adventure, after the breakfast we drive to Pamukkale & Greek-Roman city of Hierapolis. The surreal, brillant White travertine terraces and warm, limpid pools of Pamukkale hang, like the petrified cascade of mighty waterfall. Truly spectacular in its own right, the geological phenomenon that is Pamukkale, literally “Cotton Castle” in Turkish, is also the site of remarkably well preseverved ruins of Greek-Roman city of Hierapolis. With such a uniqe combination of natural and man made wonders it’s little wonder that Pamukkale-Hierapolis has been made a Unesco World Heritage site.
On the final day of the Grand Anatolian Tour, we transfer you to the airport for Istanbul flight.
